Meet Cynthia
My name is Cynthia Cantwell, and I am a mother of two amazing daughters and a professional photographer with over 30 years of experience.
I believe that animals are an expression of God's love, and I thought that was a beautiful description of the role pets have in our lives. With our precious pets, we laugh more, love more, and enjoy our lives more. We should return their love with as much devotion as they give us. We like taking care of them to ensure they have the best food and care and are as happy and healthy as possible! They deserve to be remembered in the best way, too, with a beautiful artistic portrait. I would love to help bring joy to your life for years to come with images of your beloved pet.
I Do What I Love

Non-Profit Partnerships: Giving Back
There’s a quiet kind of magic in helping a wild creature heal. Donating my time to Panhandle Wildlife Rescue, a federally and state permitted 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the rehabilitation, hospitalization, and medical care of sick, injured, and orphaned native Florida wildlife. From owls and opossums to turtles and songbirds, every life we touch is a story of resilience—and a reminder of our shared responsibility to protect the wild.
As a volunteer, I assist with daily care and documentation, but one of my greatest joys is photographing the animals during their journey back to health. Capturing their spirit through the lens—knowing they’ll soon return to their natural habitat—is a profound privilege. Each image is a celebration of survival, hope, and the quiet heroism of those who work behind the scenes to make it possible.
Panhandle Wildlife Rescue operates solely on donations and volunteer support. If you feel called to help, whether through time, resources, or simply spreading the word, your contribution makes a real difference.
Together, we can give Florida’s wildlife a second chance at freedom.
